Mike DicksCreative Producer/TrainerTV, web and games producer Mike has worked as a trainer for numerous organisations including the NFTS, Indie Training Fund, and the Multi-Platform Business School, and as a public speaker at conferences such as MIP, Content London and the BBC Academy, he provides insight into the murky world of telling stories across multiple technologies.
As an Agent Provocateur, Mike brought together trade bodies from digital (BIMA), advertising (IPA) and games (UKIE) to provide cross-market networking and learning. Mike has also worked for PACT, lobbying for better terms for content makers with Channel 4 and the BBC. After a minor skirmish with cancer, he is now an illustrator, designer and humourist, and ‘Mayor of Trumpton’ – a satirical social media account that has spawned a book about Donald Trump. |
